From the Simplicity Learn-to-Sew pattern collection, make these child’s, teens’ and adults’ lounge pants. Note: if used as sleepwear, use fabrics and trims that meet the flammability standards set by the U.S. Government.

SUPPLIES

Fabric Suggestions:

  • Flannel, gingham, chambray, cotton and cotton blends, cotton interlock, jerseys. Not suitable for sleepwear. Extra fabric is needed to match plaids, stripes or one-way design fabrics.

 

Yardage: 45″ wide fabric – see pattern envelope for specific yardage  for each size

  • PANTS
    • Childs/Teens : 1 – 2 1/2 yards
    • Teens/Adults: 2 5/8 – 2 3/4 yards

Notions:

  • Thread
  • 1″ wide elastic
    • Child’s/Teens’ sizes – 7/8 yard
    • Teens’/Adults’ sizes – 1 1/4 yard
  • Twill tape for ties – 3/4 yard of 1/4″ wide
