We’re doing something different for Block of the Month in 2025. Riley Blake has created an adorable series of mini quilts to help you decorate your home throughout the year. Each month you will receive an exclusive themed pattern, fabric for the quilt top and binding all beautifully packaged in a coordinating keepsake box. Each month has been designed by a group of favorite Riley Blake designers.

Individual quilts finish at 12” x 14”, making them a project that is easy to finish each month. Most months are traditionally pieced with a few months using fusible applique. Use your completed mini quilts as seasonal wall hangings or wait until the end of the year and combine them all into a single large quilt. Our first design will be April’s Hoppy to Meet You, giving you lots of time to finish it in time to display even if life gets in the way. If you would like to combine your blocks into one big quilt, we will provide finishing instructions on how to do that.

We will have in person meetings at 10:15 am on the first Saturday of the month starting on February 1st, 2025. (Kits start shipping in January but we want to make sure they arrive in time for our first meeting!) March will be an exception as the meeting will be on the second Saturday (March 8th) to avoid conflicting with Sew Expo. You will get to see the current month’s finished mini quilt and get some tips and tricks for completing it.

You will also be invited to join our exclusive Mini Quilt of the Month 2025 Facebook group starting in July 2024. In the months leading up to our first in-person meeting we will release information about the designers, get to know each other and share what we are currently working on. Other perks will include exclusive vouchers and bonuses such as a quilter’s notion gift bag, canvas tote and access to our Pre-Black Friday sale!

Signups will be offered in groups of six and after the first two groups fill up, we will accept backorders to work towards filling the next group of six. (Riley Blake is producing kits in groups of six, affecting what we can make available to you.)

Sign up early to secure your spot – receive a 10% discount off your deposit if you sign up before July 15th! No other discounts will apply to the program.

Your deposit of $289.99 (half of the year’s kit fees) will secure your spot once your group is full. If your group doesn’t fill up, your deposit will be returned.

Once the Mini Quilt of the Month starts in 2025, you will pick up your kit at the end of the meeting to purchase for $23.98. You will also receive a bonus coupon for attending.

If you are unable to attend a meeting, you will be able to pick up your kit starting the following business day. You will be required to pay for any past kits that haven’t been purchased before you can get the current month’s kit.
