Needles: Let’s Get to the Point

We all know how crucial a needle is to our sewing projects, but does the type of needle matter? (Just in case, yes there are different types of needles other than new and bent.) The universal needle is most people’s go to but there are many circumstances when there is a better choice. Learn how to decide which needle is best for your project based on fabric type, thread and sewing technique. We will go over how to identify needles out of their packaging that doesn’t rely on you trying to read the tiny engraving on the needle. We will be focusing on machine needles, however hand sewing needles will be briefly covered as well.
