The Field Bag was originally designed and sold by Fringe Supply Co. and is now available to home sewers as a sewing pattern! The Field Bag is ideal for organizing knitting, sewing, embroidery, or other works-in-progress. It features a roomy main compartment with interior pockets designed for corralling tools, patterns, and miscellany; grommets for managing multiple strands of yarn; and a handy wrist strap. In class you will learn how to work with heavy fabrics and set grommets. The perfect way to combine your sewing and fiber arts skills or to branch out into another craft.
Grommets are provided as part of the class fee and you will have the choice between brass and nickel. The hardware to set the grommets will be available for use during class.

Instructor: | Erin Hubner |
Instructor Bio: | Erin learned to sew as a kid and was always crafty but didn't really get fully into sewing until after college. After making a few rather involved Halloween costumes she realized she could make clothes to wear every day, not just at the end of October. Eventually this led to her going back to school for fashion design and construction and teaching classes for over 6 years. Her main focus may be garment sewing, but she has also worked on accessories, home decor and quilting. Basically, if it involves fabric, thread, yarn, or other similar craft supplies she probably does it on a semi regular basis. Except projects involving hot glue, she does try to stay away from those. |
