Kids 110: Trick or Treat Tote
We personally don’t think you should have to choose just ONE type of bag to trick-or-treat around the Halloween season! So, don’t! Learn to sew and make a useful, reversible, tote! Take it out with one side and then when you fill it up and pour your candy out, turn it inside out and voila! A new bag! Hey, maybe you could even hit a few of the same house…they might think you’re a different trick-or-treater! :-) This is a great beginner sewing class for kids, learning to sew and creating something fun is the way to go this season!
We are so excited to announce our partnership with Made Sewing Studio and that we are now offering sewing classes for kids! Made Sewing is a local company that has offered quality sewing classes with a focus on teaching elementary school aged children since 2010. All classes have been carefully designed with children in mind to ensure a fun, creative and safe experience.
SUPPLIES: All class supplies are included.
SKILL LEVEL: Kids Beginner
AGE LEVEL: Ages 7 and above
PREREQUISITE: No experience necessary

| Skill Details: | Never sewn on a machine before or have but may not be very confident. Needs assistance with basics like threading and selecting the correct stitch, needle, etc. Haven't completed a project or have but were very frustrated. | Instructor Bio: | Carisa has been sewing since she was 5. Her mother and grandmother taught her as a last resort to occupy her curiously annoying habit of taking everything apart. She has a Bachelor of Art in Arts Management from Columbia College, a Graduate Degree in Costume Design from the London College of Fashion, and a Master of Education from Seattle University. Carisa is the owner and founder of Made Sewing Studio (located in North Seattle) and has specialized in teaching children for over a decade. |
