Kids 109: E-Reader Stand

As we all know, we are not in short supply of devices in our lives these days. What we are in short supply of is something to hold them up so we can read without getting a hand cramp! That’s where this nifty e-reader comes in to save the day! Light weight but study to hold up tablets, phones, e-readers and more! Your hands will thank you! This is a great beginner project for your little sewist. Useful and Educational!

We are so excited to announce our partnership with Made Sewing Studio and that we are now offering sewing classes for kids! Made Sewing is a local company that has offered quality sewing classes with a focus on teaching elementary school aged children since 2010. Instructor: Erin Hubner
Instructor Bio: Erin learned to sew as a kid and was always crafty but didn't really get fully into sewing until after college. After making a few rather involved Halloween costumes she realized she could make clothes to wear every day, not just at the end of October. Eventually this led to her going back to school for fashion design and construction and teaching classes for over 6 years. Her main focus may be garment sewing, but she has also worked on accessories, home decor and quilting. Basically, if it involves fabric, thread, yarn, or other similar craft supplies she probably does it on a semi regular basis. Except projects involving hot glue, she does try to stay away from those.
