SODO-Zippers and Interfacings (1 day)

NEW Take the fear out of sewing with zippers. Learn how to sew 6 different zipper techniques using a variety of fabrics. You will sew samples of a separating zipper in fleece (like a jacket), a center lapped zipper (as in the back of a pillow), a lapped zipper in a curved seam (like the side seam of a skirt), an invisible zipper (as in a dress matching the waist seams), a mock fly zipper (like a pair of pants), and faced shaped zippers (as used in pockets). Learn which interfacings work with which different fabrics and how they support the zipper.
