I DO not know how it happens, but this weekend's Sewing & Stitchery Expo at the Puyallup Fairgrounds REALLY is better than ever. For instance, you can UPS your purchases back home right from the show - isn't that brilliant!! There's more, too, but of course, I'm here to tell you about the Pacific Fabrics Diner at Booth #728 in the Showplex. You have GOT to see this. So amazing! We're all wearing diner theme aprons and shirts, we'll write up your order in Diner style and give you a cool bumper sticker to take home with your purchase. And! Our Daily Special is all Fabric 20% off in the booth and a purchase of $40 or more gets you the Carry-Out Special - a free PacFab Tote Bag. Best fabric dining EVER!!! Click on the pictures to see a larger image and take a look: Hungry for fun fabrics? Check out the foodie end of our booth. Burgers, fries, you name it, we've got it. And look at that Jelly Jar quilt! Isn't that the coolest thing you've seen?! I'd love to see it with snack foods or canned veggies, too - what a great idea. Food fabric - think table runners, placemats, napkins, aprons and my personal favorite - grocery store shopping totes. SEW fun!!! Be sure to look for the Fruit and Veggie Pincushions I made, too.
On to the Kid's Corner! Sweet, sweet 18" doll clothes and dolls to sew, a bed you'll wish you could make for yourself and fabrics you just won't believe. So, so cute!!! Grandma Heaven and Young Mom Bliss all right there in one darling corner! Don't miss the ADORABLE flannels, too - they're going fast!!! This is SO cute, I just want to scream "ORDER UP"! I love these "fried" fat quarter packs!!! They would be so cool as a gift or just sitting in the kitchen and speaking of kitchen - can you say runner? I love having theme runners to put on the table for a fun famiily dinner and these packs are just what the sewing cook ordered! There's a Game Day Munchies pack (pizza and such), Late Night Munchies (pretzels, popcorn & more), Sweet Tooth Munchies (cupcakes, M & Ms - mmm mmm good) and a couple more you'll love. OH, and DO NOT miss the Chef Apron Panels we have all cut and ready for you to adopt! BABYVILLE! Have you seen this collection? It's incredible! (Did I say that loud enough? INCREDIBLE!!!) I can hardly wait for grandkids now. Babyville is a marvelous group of colored snaps, coordinating hook and loop tape, appliques, fabrics and more designed for DIY diaper making. Truly fab-U-lous! There are books that show you how and designs for accessories that look like they walked right out of the priciest baby boutique and you can make it all. Yes, YOU can! Head there now! That should get you started and I have to run. Watch our Facebook page for more posts throughout the weekend and another blog post or two will be up, also. By the way, Facebook and Twitter are great ways to stay up to the minute with what is happening at Pacific Fabrics - in our stores and at our shows. Give it a try! See you soon! ~ Annette |
