Love the Shabby Chic look (the pale hues look great in our "Seattle grey" light!) and inspirational way of life. The book would be a welcome resource in redecorating my home (I would love to make a new duvet cover for our master bedroom).by Krista on 30 January 2012 at 11:08 a.m.

I have a Shabby Chic bedspread w/pink roses, & the pink sheets on a log bed in a spare bedroom for our granddaughters. I love the quality of the fabrics: crisp yet soft, clean, and so comfortable. It's my favorite room in the house!by Janine W. on 30 January 2012 at 9:18 a.m.

I will be moving in a couple of months. And even tho I have many elements of shabby chic now; in my new place, I am going to paint every room in a different shabby chic PALE color just like from your book. Then I will name the rooms accordingly. I have always been a medium color person. I am so excited about this new (to me) soft look in a my near future. Thank you.by monah on 29 January 2012 at 8:23 p.m.

The softly blending colours of these floral fabrics bring a welcome freshness to any project or room, especially as they remind me of my spring and summer garden. Taking a rich hue from any of the patterns, I can refresh my house without too much effort, since she has done it for me. Love Rachel's palette, my only challenge is to make up my mind which ones to choose!by K Thompson-Mitchell on 29 January 2012 at 5:12 p.m.

I have always been an old sole. I love and appreciate antiques. Now that I am single, I have pursued my passion for white shabby antique furniture and pastel fabrics. My house is soft and feminine. I love to sew and I buy every piece of shabby chic fabric I find. I absolutely love Rachel Atwell, she is very talented. I buy old sheets made from her fabric and repurpose. I make pillows and banners, cosmetic bags and totes what ever hits me at the moment. I hope I win...I am soooo excited...by Dar on 29 January 2012 at 4:52 p.m.

I absolutely love the soft colors and comfy cozy look and feel of shabby chic. My plans are to make a quilt for our master bedroom in the blue prints of the Garden Rose fabric line. Shabby chic is my favorite type of quilt. I love the soft colors with lots of floral fabrics in my quilts.by Sally on 28 January 2012 at 8:08 p.m.

I can never pick just one, or even just a few, of the fabrics from a great collection like this. So I always try to look for ways to use ALL of them. Since I don't make quilts that creates a challenge. With this collection I want to cover lampshades in more then one and then make a matching rocking chair back and seat cushion with the others. Hopefully I can work all of them into these items.by Hatbuddy on 28 January 2012 at 6:06 p.m.

I've been struggling to find fabric that I like for a pink quilt for a relative. Looks like this will help!by Marita on 28 January 2012 at 5:03 p.m.

I really like the look and feel of the colors. I want and need to get away from the gloomy dark colors of my house. I do have a nice red chair, but the browns and dark plums are in need of some lightening! I think yours will go great with the cherry wood furniture we have.by Teri H on 28 January 2012 at 1:47 p.m.

I've always been partial to distressed painted wood furniture -- wood peaking through pealing white paint is kind of perfect. Pair that with floral prints of those old big roses (the heirloom varieties, like tea roses) and you've got a perfect, cozy room.by Cathy H. on 27 January 2012 at 6:31 p.m.

I love the distressed wood paired with the muted floral fabrics creating that soft and feminine ambiance.by LErickson on 27 January 2012 at 6:06 p.m.

I love the pales and white in the fabrics- very spring feeling. Doesn't hurt that I am knee deep in a monochromatic deep blue green batik quilt- you know how much you lust after other colors when you have been working on a quilt for a while.by Dolly on 27 January 2012 at 6:02 p.m.
