Tuesday Tip - June Tailor Ink Jet Printables
Posted by Annette Millard on Tuesday, September 13th, 2011
I love crafting! Creating things by hand gives me a feeling of accomplishment and pride. I have only recently embraced technology in crafting and I have found it helps me to get more time for the hobby I love.
This month at Creative U, I am having so much fun using June Tailor's Ink Jet Printable Fusible Web on some really cute Halloween decorations. Instead of spending time tracing designs onto the paper side of regular fusible web, I simply put the specially designed product into the paper tray of my printer, hit copy and print! (You can also use designs downloaded from your computer). Now my designs are ready to fuse to the wrong side of the fabric and I can just cut and iron the designs in place.
June Tailor makes Ink Jet Printable Freezer Paper too! This works great for ironing on felt and other fabrics to cut out for regular, non-fused applique.
I hope you have time to come see my Trick or Treat Wool Felt Little Pillow (shown above) made from a Pieceable Pear pattern, Itsy Bitsy Table Runner from the My Runners book and Trick or Treat and Pumpkin Banners at Creative U this month! You can click here to find the date and times nearest you. See you soon!
