Okay, drop everything and call or go into your nearest Pacific Fabrics store. If you're not already signed up for An Inside Look - Quilting Fabric From A to Z with Jason Yenter - you NEED to sign up now!Our SODO Seattle (former Outlet) store had the honor of hosting Jason (along with deisgner Lida Enche) and from what I hear - it was an AMAZING presentation!!!

Jason YenterJason Yenter of In The Beginning fabrics

Jason Yenter, co-owner (and a fabric designer, too) of the wonderful, locally owned In The Beginning fabrics company told our eager guests all about the process of designing, printing and manufacturing quilting fabrics. He brought tons of quilts, lots of pictures of the process, and answered oodles of questions.

September Light collection

As a bonus, fabric designer and local artist, Lida Enche came with Jason and also spoke, answered questions and showed her fabulous drawings. Lida will be with Jason at our Bellevue and Bremerton stores, too, and is the designer of the gorgeous September Light collection you see above. It just arrived in our stores and it is stunning!

Catkin collection

Another local artist and designer, Julie Paschkis will be accompanying Jason at our Everett and Northgate stores. We KNOW you love Julie's delightful style and brilliant colors in the Catkin collection shown above. It's been flying off our shelves and we've re-ordered already!

I was so excited to hear that Jason's presentation was even more wonderful than we knew it would be. Sounds to me like you'll know so much after you attend one of these FREE seminars that we really should be giving you a diploma! Maybe a BFQF? Bachelor of Fine Quilitng Fabrics. What do you think? I can hardly wait to go myself!

Seminars are filling fast! Click here to find the date and time at your nearest store and sign up soon.
