Tuesday Tip - Fusible Fleece

Posted by pacificfabrics on Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

I am demonstrating at the Evergreen State Fair this week showing new quilting gadgets and some “quick quilting” techniques. I was very surprised to hear many of the people I talked to had never heard of Fusible Fleece.

This is an iron-on batting that I fuse to my quilt backing before I do my quilt stitching. It is perfect for “quilt-as-you-go” where the quilt is pieced on the top of the batting and backing. I find that it is a great alternative to basting sprays especially for small quilts, placemats and table runners.

My Runners book

I am making a really cute table runner from a book called My Runners by Disa Designs for September's Creative U. Come and check it out!
