The biggest and best opportunity to see quilts in the Pacific Northwest is coming to the Tacoma Convention Center in Tacoma WA this weekend. Yes, that's right, the Pacific West Quilt Show we've all been anxiously awaiting starts this Friday, August 26th and you've just got to come!
For many years, we enjoyed participating in the semi-annual Pacific Northwest Quiltfest put on by APNQ (Association of Pacific Northwest Quilters). You may remember that and wonder where they went. Well, "they" are still around and have expanded into LOTS of western states. After taking a year to re-group and re-organize, we now have APWQ (Association of Pacific West Quilters). Talk about a good idea getting better - this is it! So, this year we have the privilege of being a sponsor and vendor at the new, expanded show and we are so excited! We look forward to seeing old friends that we don't see often, enjoying those we do see in our stores and making lots of new friends from across the Western United States and Canada.
Look for Pacific Fabrics & Crafts in Booth 209, 211 to the left of the entry and down the second aisle. We are just beyond Superior Threads and right across from our good friends, Quality Sewing. And we will be SEW ready for you! Debbie, our extraordinary planner of show booths has some amazing things for you to shop, learn about and be inspired by. You'll see Crafty Chris from Creative U in the booth demonstrating fun tools, gorgeous sample quilts and you'll love our shelves stocked with an absolutely stunning selection of quilting fabric.
