I'm having so much fun making flowers with Clover's Flower Frill Templates!
They're simple and quick to make by folding the fabric according to the instructions on the easy-to-use templates. You just cut the petals, stitch them together and there you have it! Although they look like paper, the templates are made of a special material that is flexible enough to fold for your flower, but sturdy enough for you to use again and again. Here are a couple of tips . . . Tip #1: Add petals of tulle to your fabric petals, to make a nice perky, full flower that holds it's shape well. I love using them as a brooch or an accessory on hats or bags. In our 2011 Sewing Expo booth, we all wore these on our aprons. Click here for a Flower Frill Embellishments project sheet from Clover. Tip #2: Twist 16 gauge wire onto your finished flower to create a stem. Now you can have a beautiful bouquet to brighten up your Spring table and you didn't even have to get your hands dirty. No watering either! Click here for a Flower Frill Decor project sheet from Clover. Flower Frill Templates come in two different size sets: Small/Medium or Large/Extra Large. You'll find the templates and various project sheets at all our stores and you will LOVE them! ~ Crafty Chris |
