Tuesday Tip - Essential Mending Know-How

I sold a book to a gentleman at the Bellevue store last week because he wanted to learn how to do his own mending. So, the next day, I picked up the book to look through it more carefully AND I see it as one of the best, if not the best book, I've ever seen!
Stitch 'n Fix - Essential Mending Know-How for Bachelors & Babes by Joan Gordon was published in England and contains amazing information. Techniques are illustrated by photographs that show very specific steps for each procedure. They vary from sewing on buttons to fixing all different kinds of seams, and zippers, holes, frayed trouser leg edges, various hems and more, more, more!
