I'm having a wonderful time at the 2011 Sewing & Stitchery Expo!!! So, I thought I'd share some of my favorite things in our booth (#728) with you. |

Dodi Poulsen's Fresh Picked book! This book is beautiful and amazing and so is Dodi. I'm so glad we are sponsoring her seminars this year! We met for breakfast, then I sat through her first seminar at 8:30 Thursday morning. She's a great speaker and I got lots of tips I'll share with you over the next few months or so. If you're coming to the Expo and you're a quilter, be sure to get a ticket for at least one of her seminars!

Foam Batting! This is a totally cool product we've discovered fabulous ways to use. It's a great alternative to traditional batting for placemats, purses, runners and more. It gives your projects body, but stays soft so they aren't stiff. Just $5.99 for a half yard piece. This is my favorite for the day. It will make your purse "stand up" just like it should. You've gotta check it out. So cool!

Our Kitchen! We're really cookin' at the booth this year and you'll love the cleverly kitschy kitchen display surounded by yummy fruit and veggie prints. Makes a girl want to just whip out a mixing bowl and stir up a quilt!
Crafty Chris! This girl is amazing!!! Chris has found the coolest tools you've ever seen and after just watching her for a few minutes, you'll find yourself buying a 'make-your-life-easier' tool and you'll be SEW glad you did.
The Incredible Market Quilt at our Puyallup Store! No, this is not a picture of my trip to the Public Market, but it is one of the most creative quilts I've ever seen. You'll see a mini version in our booth, but you MUST go up to the Puyallup store to see the full quilt. Simply incredible and so realistic that you will want a 'pound' of each fabric!
Okay, that's just Chapter One and I've already got another list going. Watch for Chapter Two tomorrow!
