Meet our Sewing Expo Seminar Speakers

We are VERY excited about our seminar speakers and special Sewing & Stitchery Expo booth guests, Dodi Poulsen and Megan Miles. Seminar tickets can no longer be ordered through the Expo site, but you can get them right at the Expo seminar ticket booth in the Showplex when you arrive. Here's a little bit about this great mom/daughter duo: |

Dodi Lee Poulsen of Two Sisters at Squirrel Hollow is a well known, local quilt designer and an all around very fun person! She is teaching seminar #1076 Fresh Picked - Big Bold Prints are Here to Stay and #1077 Imagine - Design - Create! for us at the Sewing Expo. She's been working hard to prepare and you'll LOVE learning from Dodi and seeing her samples! |

Dodi is passionate about quilting and has shared her love for 25 years while teaching around the country. Her stunning designs (as you can see in her Cherry Quilt shown here) aptly convey her passion and she says, “For me, quilting embraces emotion and beautifully blends fabric with the heart of its creator.” Sooo true! |

Dodi's daughter, Megan Miles, joined Two Sisters at Squirrel Hollow a few years back as the designer for their Little Londyn children's pattern division. She'll be teaching seminar #1062 Sewing For the New Generation for us at the Sewing Expo. Meg, who began sewing at a young age, is a mother of three who has mastered the art of finding time to sew! |

As a pattern designer, Meg creates patterns (like the Millie Moo Dress shown here) that are not only fun and modern but easy enough so that the beginner sewist can feel comfortable and successful. She loves to share her experiences of how she started and learned to balance family life and sewing as she found her passion doing what she loves and you'll love learning from her! |
