2008 Block of the Month Club
Clubs start this month - just 500 spots this year
and we're almost full!
Due to fabric availability, we had just 500 spots to fill. If
you have not signed up and paid yet, please check with the
store to make sure there is still room before you attend your

Your Hands
Here's a chance to show off your
quilts! April & May at all our stores
Our in-store Quilt Shows are just the best, since they feature
our favorite quilters - you! If you've never entered a quilt show
before, our stores are friendly places to start. Our customers will
be the "experts" and do the voting, so bring in your quilts and
enjoy the praise. We can hardly wait to see your quilts! Check with
your nearest
store for entry guidelines and show details:
Bellevue
Quilts will be accepted from April 14th - 26th and displayed from
April 28th - May 17th.
Bremerton
Quilts will be accepted from March 23rd - 30th and displayed from
April 1st - 28th.
Everett
Quilts will be accepted from April 1st - 30th and displayed from May
1st - 31st.
Northgate
Quilts will be accepted from March 17th - April 15th and displayed
from April 17th - May 15th.
Outlet
Quilts will be accepted from March 23rd - 30th and displayed from
April 1st -28th.
Puyallup
Quilts will be accepted from March 23rd - 30th and displayed from
April 1st -30th.
DIY
Prom
Event
Saturday, April 26th or May 3rd at
our Northgate Store
Would you like to know how to have that WOW factor at
your prom this year? Join us and learn how to create and design for
the real you! Willa will show you easy wraps & purses, to-die-for
shoe glam, fun hair accessories, embellishments and easy pocket
squares you can make for your guy. Plus you'll see fashions modeled
and super beautiful fabrics, trims and patterns. Your $5.00 per
person registration fee includes handouts, a special gift for
everyone attending and a chance to win a door prize. Call the
store or stop by to pre-register!
Our
January - April
Class
Schedule
is available online and in
our stores!
Call your friends, make your plans and get ready to learn new skills
with our fun and inspiring classes. We have lots of exciting new
classes full of creative ideas scheduled for you. And so that you
can plan your summer education, our May - September class schedule
will be posted online on April 25th, so stay tuned!

Blanket Bee - April 27th from
12 to 5 pm at all stores
Bring your friends, neighbors and anyone who has a
heart! We'll be stitching up the fabric and yarn you donated in
February and using batting generously donated by The Warm Company.
If you can sew, knit, crochet or just tie a knot, we'd love to have
you come! Refreshments will be provided and you'll go home with lots
of new friends and the satisfaction of giving to help others.

days of sewing creativity!

Extension Service Clothing & Textile Advisors
Stop into some of our stores on a Saturday and in addition to our
skilled staff members, you may find an expert WSU Extension Service
Clothing & Textile Advisor volunteer ready to help! These well
trained, eager to help sewing enthusiasts are available on various
Saturdays at our Bremerton,
Everett
or Puyallup
stores. It's a great day to bring your questions or projects, enjoy
a little free advice, shop and go home with new confidence and
inspiration! Check with the store for exact dates.
Learn
to Sew, Knit or Craft at a Pacific Fabrics & Crafts Class!
Our Class Schedule is available for online sign ups, so
don't miss out! Whether you want to enhance your existing skills or
acquire new ones, we have the class for you. Be sure to check our schedule for classes to keep the kids busy, too!

Keep
your calendars open for our Fabric Drives and Blanket Bees! Fabric
Drives are held in the Spring and the Fall and they are followed
closely by a Blanket Bee at all our stores. Watch the web site for
exact dates.
You'll love the Blanket Bees! We use the fabric donated during the
drives, batting generously donated by The
Warm Company and your willing hands. A fun time to meet new
friends and benefit those in need!
Our relationship with
Project Linus doesn’t
begin and end with our Fabric Drives and Blanket Bees! Did you know
that we are a permanent drop-off point for fabric donations and
finished quilts? We are happy to accept your no-longer-needed, good
quality, cotton, flannel and fleece fabrics! Project Linus volunteers will make them
into snuggly quilts for traumatized and ill children. Drop in and
make a difference today!
