Willa will show you easy wraps & purses, to-die-for shoe glam, fun hair accessories, embellishments and easy pocket squares you can make for your guy. Plus you'll see fashions modeled and super beautiful fabrics, trims and patterns. Blanket Bee - April 27th from 12 to 5 pm at all stores

Bring your friends, neighbors and anyone who has a heart! We'll be stitching up the fabric and yarn you donated in February and using batting generously donated by The Warm Company. If you can sew, knit, crochet or just tie a knot, we'd love to have you come! Refreshments will be provided and you'll go home with lots of new friends and the satisfaction of giving to help others.

Diane Ericson of Revisions Patterns will present two days of sewing creativity!
 

Saturday, May 17, 2008, Lecture and Trunk Show.  Topics include color, proportion and creative details. Lunch is included on Saturday.
Sunday, May 18, 2008, Creative Details and Closures workshop
Location:  Lake Washington Technical College, 11605 132nd Avenue NE, Kirkland, WA 
Price per day:  ASG Members - $60, Non-members - $70 per day. Start/Stop Time, both days:  Check in begins at 8:30.  Sessions run from 9 am - 4 pm. Space is limited, registration deadline is May 7, 2008.

WSU Extension Service Clothing & Textile Advisors
Stop into some of our stores on a Saturday and in addition to our skilled staff members, you may find an expert WSU Extension Service Clothing & Textile Advisor volunteer ready to help! These well trained, eager to help sewing enthusiasts are available on various Saturdays at our Bremerton, Everett or Puyallup stores. It's a great day to bring your questions or projects, enjoy a little free advice, shop and go home with new confidence and inspiration! Keep your calendars open for our Fabric Drives and Blanket Bees! Fabric Drives are held in the Spring and the Fall and they are followed closely by a Blanket Bee at all our stores. Watch the web site for exact dates. 

You'll love the Blanket Bees! We use the fabric donated during the drives, batting generously donated by The Warm Company and your willing hands. A fun time to meet new friends and benefit those in need!

Our relationship with Project Linus doesn’t begin and end with our Fabric Drives and Blanket Bees! Did you know that we are a permanent drop-off point for fabric donations and finished quilts? We are happy to accept your no-longer-needed, good quality, cotton, flannel and fleece fabrics! Project Linus volunteers will make them into snuggly quilts for traumatized and ill children. Drop in and make a difference today!

American Sewing Guild
A national sewing association for people of all levels of expertise who think that sewing is creative, rewarding and fun! As a member, you'll enjoy guest speakers and informative monthly newsletters and a lot of fun! Groups meet at our Bremerton, Everett, Issaquah and Puyallup stores.

The Applique Society
If you love applique, you'll want to join this group! The Applique Society promotes many types and techniques of applique on all types of material. A group meets at our Bremerton store.

 

Sewing Groups
Creating & designing is always better with friends! Lots of ideas, time to sew, a store full of fabric, what more could you want? You'll find fun groups full of fellow sewing divas at Bellevue, Everett and Issaquah.

 

Knit & Crochet Groups
Grab your needles and hooks and join fellow yarn lovers at one of these fun groups! You'll love sharing the joy of stitching and chatting. We have great groups who are always ready for new members at our 4th Avenue Outlet, Issaquah, Puyallup and Northgate stores!

 

Charitable Stitching Groups
Stitching with a heart! Whether it's sewing, knitting or crocheting, we believe in giving back to the marvelous communities we live in. What a privilege to be able to share with those in need right in your own neighborhood. In addition to our ongoing support of Project Linus, you'll find a service focused group for you to join at our Bremerton store.

 

Quilting Groups
Relax, enjoy and gather inspiration. There's something about a quilting group that keeps your fingers piecing! You'll find a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends at the meetings held at our Bellevue, Bremerton, 4th Avenue Outlet, Everett, Issaquah, Northgate and Puyallup stores.
