Project Linus Fabric Drive - February 1st - 28th
Pile it up and bring it in! We're having a Fabric Drive during the month of February to benefit our local Project Linus chapters. Project Linus creates comfort blankets for seriously ill and traumatized children and they need cotton or fleece fabric, at least 1/2 yard long that is clean, child friendly and in good condition. For every yard you donate at our stores, we'll reward you with a coupon good for 5% off (up to a total of 20%) on your next purchase at any of our stores.

Project Linus Blanket Bee - Sunday, April 25th from Noon to 5:00 pm
Mark your calendar, call your friends and join us at our Blanket Bee as we stitch up the fabrics you donated using batting generously provided by The Warm Company. If you can quilt, sew, knit, crochet or tie a knot, we have a place for you. We promise, lots of fun, a chance to meet new friends, treats and the lasting smile you'll take home knowing that you made a difference in the life of a seriously ill or traumatized child!

From Sewing Basics to Custom Design & Fitting
Everett Store - begins on February 14th
An exclusive sewing opportunity limited to six teen-age girls with an interest in a career in fashion! This intensive course will take you from a beginner in fashion sewing to an expert, ready to attend a design school with the basics of fashion construction already learned. Tara Perkins, Palmer/Pletsch Educational Associate will teach you techniques you will use for years and you will "graduate" with clothing construction and fitting skills you can use to begin a career in fashion and/or a lifetime of sewing fun. "Of Your Hands" Quilt Show

Quilt Entry March 22nd - 29th; Quilt Display April 1st - 30th at all our stores
Here's your chance to enter a Quilt Show! Whether you're a quilting veteran or newbie, the Pacific Fabrics & Crafts "Of Your Hands" quilt show is a nice, friendly way to show off what you've made. Quilts are displayed in our stores, our customers do the voting and might win a prize! Start planning now and check with your nearest store for more information. We'd LOVE to see your quilts!!!

Quilts will be accepted at each store for entry from March 22nd - 29th.
Voting and Display will be from April 1st - 23rd.
Winners will be on display from April 24th - 30th.

Plan to join us at the After Hours Party up the hill at our Puyallup store. It's the most fun you'll have after the show closes and a great reason to stay for more than one day. Our 2nd Annual Knitalong Club
Would you like to improve your knitting skills and meet monthly with other needle happy friends? Then you'll love our 2nd Annual Knitalong Club! clubs began in October, but you can still sign up! Each Knitalong Leader has chosen a yummy book to work on and projects will be selected from input given by Club members. Stop into some of our stores on a Saturday and in addition to our skilled staff members, you may find an expert WSU Extension Service Clothing & Textile Advisor volunteer ready to help! These well trained, eager to help sewing enthusiasts are available on various Saturdays at our Bremerton, Everett or Puyallup stores. It's a great day to bring your questions or projects, enjoy a little free advice, shop and go home with new confidence and inspiration! Check with the store for exact dates.

Learn to Sew, Knit or Craft at a Pacific Fabrics & Crafts Class!
Our Class Schedule is available for online sign ups, so don't miss out! Whether you want to enhance your existing skills or acquire new ones, we have the class for you. Be sure to check our schedule for classes to keep the kids busy, too!

Keep your calendars open for our Fabric Drives and Blanket Bees! Fabric Drives are held in February and August and they are followed closely by Blanket Bees in April and September at all our stores. Watch the web site for exact dates, then plan to join us and make a difference!

You'll love the Blanket Bees! We use the fabric donated during the drives, batting generously donated by The Warm Company and your willing hands. A fun time to meet new friends and benefit those in need!

Our relationship with Project Linus doesn’t begin and end with our Fabric Drives and Blanket Bees! Did you know that we are a permanent drop-off point for fabric donations and finished quilts? We are happy to accept your no-longer-needed, good quality, cotton, flannel and fleece fabrics! Project Linus volunteers will make them into snuggly quilts for traumatized and ill children. Drop in and make a difference today!

What a privilege to be able to share with those in need right in your own neighborhood. In addition to our ongoing support of Project Linus, you'll find a service focused group for you to join at our Bremerton store.
